One of my favorite pastimes is reading books telling the history of bands!

I started into music very young, at 4 my mother bought me the first Beatles album “Meet The Beatles”. I loved the British Invasion along with the Beach Boys and The Monkees. Then in Junior High I hung out with a friend after school and he played his sister’s 8-track of Billion Dollar Babies! I asked to borrow it and that night I decided I needed more of this. I got on my bike the next morning and rode to Kmart and bought “Welcome to my Nightmare”. I was hooked! I started working that summer and I explored every album that looked cool, went to concerts, checked out friends’ albums at parties and eagerly read Circus, Creem and Hit Parader. By the end of high school I had well over 1000 albums, which drove my father crazy, “What a waste of money!”. At this time Mark was a neighborhood friend who shared my passion for rock albums and stereo equipment. We’ve stayed friends due a lot to our shared love of music. In my younger years I was a DJ at a radio station and managed a record store for many years. Then after a divorce I went back to college and became a teacher. I met Kip one evening after a college class I was teaching, and we hit it off right away because we finally could talk to someone about the band Angel!
